Workout Calendars - What an Amazing Gift and Tool





When it comes to exercise, I have learned in the last year it is always great to change it up from time to time and try new things.  From trying new classes at the gym, to getting on a bike after 20 plus years, to trying out a new piece of equipment.  After all our bodies tend to get used to same old things and they crave (and sometimes demand) something new.

Last year through Facebook I came across a couple of pages - The Sisterhood of the Shrinking Jeans and Well-Girl.  These are both great pages (sites) with so much great information.  I highly recommend checking them out.  Each month they come up a new calendar challenge to give you an all around workout or focus on a certain area.  They have become a source of motivation, inspiration, and something to strive towards finishing each month.  From learning the true and correct form on exercises, to learning new exercises, to trying things that always looked intimidating (BURPEES....I must admit I still suck at them, but I am least willing to give them a try) these calendars are amazing!!!

Below are the calendars for January.  Three days in, three days done.  The best part, they don't take a lot of your time and can be done anywhere.









If you ever looking for something new to try and just want to add some variety to your regular daily routine, I highly recommend trying them and also checking out their sites.

Get moving out there....it truly not only improves you physically but mentally as well.   :)
